The Importance of Branding
Feb 27, 2021

Branding has always been an important aspect of any business and is now more important than at any time in history. With new businesses forming around the globe, it’s never been more important to stand out from the crowd. But why exactly is branding so important? How can it benefit your business?

Firstly, it allows you to create an emotional connection with your audience. In the world of marketing and sales, all sales are produced due to a perceived emotion. The consumer will believe they will achieve a certain emotion when purchasing a product. As you build your brand, they will begin to associate this emotion with your brand. For example, if you sell customized chocolate, they will associate the feeling of eating that chocolate with your brand. This will help to build up customer loyalty and a strong customer base.

This leads on to our second point; customer loyalty will dramatically help you to increase sales.

Once a customer feels loyal towards your brand, they will likely recommend you to their friend. If their friend has a positive experience, they will recommend you to their friends.

This is one of the best (and cheapest) ways to grow your brand. By creating a brand that goes all out for their customers, you will make customers want to shop with you. As your brand grows, customers will begin to know your brand just from your logo and colors. Look at Coca Cola for example. Even now you can imagine their colors and logo on any of their products. In fact, the Coca Cola brand is so well known that only two countries in the world do not officially sell it; Cuba and North Korea. This is a clear example of just how far branding can take your business and why it plays an integral role in any successful organization.
